I am Kindra- founder of Kindred Connection and a Power Centered Master Practitioner certified under the Power Integration Center founded and led by Shannon Rae. I have a background working in the addiction and recovery field before transitioning into private practice and community based work.

I am glad that something, somewhere along the way, brought you here.

Below you will find six rich Power Centered Programs offered to recovery centers all over the San Diego area. Power Centered Programs are empirically supported from a behavioral, neurobiological, relational, and scientifically proven standpoint embedded in universal truths we can rely on and turn to. These principle based programs are paradigm shifting; altering the way you perceive, relate to, and communicate with yourself and others.  No matter what you face in life, Power Centered living will liberate you from fears, attachments, and stories so that you are fully prepared to respond consciously in each moment producing intentional results, authentic relationships, and liberating experiences.

Programs For Your Clientele

Full Circle

The Full Circle Model is a model and method for facilitating groups of people through a rapid, deep, and lasting transformational process in 2- 3 hours using traditional indigenous circle concepts that are combined with human, behavioral, and brain science, sacred principles, group techniques, and Power Centered Living and Leadership principles uniquely designed to foster self acceptance, equality, presence, personal ownership, conscious choice, inspired action, self awareness and self efficacy, self behavior management, social emotional intelligence, critical thinking, leadership as self authorship, group soul leadership, and deep social bonds. Circle topics range and can be uniquely crafted for your client’s recovery needs. (Circles are in-person only for deeper transformation and community building).

I Am Powerful

I AM Powerful program is for anyone experiencing trauma, addiction, violence, or fractured family dynamics. This program addresses the 5 key human dynamics including social emotional, relational and family, life and leadership skills, behavior management, and transpersonal development.

Traditional programs are focused on development. We are not. Which simply means that we are more like an un-development program. This is not a becoming, a changing, a learning, a knowing, a having. We are focused on removing all that is covering the awesomeness of who you already are. Think of it as reverse engineering. The I AM Powerful program unveils your natural state of power, and sheds any practice of control that veils that power.

The purpose of the I AM Powerful program is to provide you:

  • The ability to differentiate between power and control in practice.

  • A lived experience of your power; the daily belief that you ‘already are all you need to be, right where you are.”

  • The tools to apply the Four Principles of Power in your practical everyday life.

Our research supports the following common outcomes of our clients:

  • Recidivism that’s less than 25% depending on client demographic

  • Reduction in Self-Harming, Violence, and Perpetration in over 80% of clients

  • Sobriety in over 75% of clients

  • Healthy Family Relationships with 99% of clients

Courageous Communication

Courageous Communication allows individuals to express themselves honestly, openly and confidently, while being respectful of others. It involves having the courage to speak up when needed, to share ideas, opinions, and perspectives, even when it may be difficult or uncomfortable. In this program, individuals can develop the skills and strategies needed to communicate with courage and clarity in any situation, overcome communication barriers such as fear, anxiety, and lack of confidence, and build strong, meaningful connections with others. Courageous Communication is critical in building and maintaining healthy relationships, helping individuals to resolve conflicts, express empathy and compassion, and create a safe and supportive environment for all.

Strengths Based Leadership

A simple method for pulling out the best in any team member, resolving conflict as it arises, and turning challenging behaviors into assets for top performance, engagement, and long-term commitment.

Strengths Based Leadership is a form of
behavior management that turns difficult people,
and challenging situations, into assets by leveraging
a team member’s strengths. It shows leaders how to make deposits in relational bank accounts, create clear, safe environments that bring out the best in others, even in the worst of times, and ultimately turn around those that seem to be veering ‘off track’. Each program can be taught as a standalone course or in subsequent order, building upon and complimenting each other for a more dynamic, deeper dive. I teach in person by coming to your center to build deeper community that will ripple out into our greater collective.

Programs are offered in 2-3 hour workshops, all day intensives, or ongoing 4-8 week containers to meet your organization’s needs. I tailor each program specifically to meet your goals for your clientele, staff, and leadership teams.
