Welcome to Kindred Connection
A fundamental part of being human is that we all long for a deep sense of belonging. I want to welcome you to Kindred Connection- founded on the belief that connection is at the root of all healing. Disconnection leads to dis-ease within the mind and body. Reconnection to one’s self, community, with mind, with body, with spirit, with nature, with our roots, and with purpose brings a deeper sense of meaning to one's life.
I want to honor that you have taken the initiative to connect. My hope is to provide you with a nourishing place to do so.
My approach as a therapist and integration specialist is a collaborative and holistic process utilizing a trauma-aware, humanistic, and nervous system regulation framework to help us get in touch with the here and now. Mindfulness, somatic work, expression, and psychoeducation is interwoven in our sessions as needed with the intention of creating nourishment, connection, and secure attachment. I offer individual therapy, preparation and integration support, fundamental mindfulness and nervous system regulation work, grief and loss support, communication and empowerment courses, and more!
Let's work with the quieter currents underneath so that you are more able to feel the full capacity of your human experience. In the therapy room (and in life) I hold the belief that everything is purposeful. I teach through continuing education, lived experience, as well as intuition. We engage in the process of therapy with great intention and honor as healing of the soul is a deeply personal journey.
Kindred Connection is more than a therapeutic practice-
we are a community

"Take your attention down into the tiny, miraculous stitching of the life you are creating from nothing, and trust that each small thread is connecting you to the greater body of belonging. One day, maybe today, you will look back on everything that came after your decision to attend to your life like an artwork, and you will see a great number of years symbolized in moons and stained with blood, stretching across a great landscape behind you, and you'll know you have come a great distance. Here, with your great cape of wound-moons, a piercing presence in your eyes, a living history on your skin, you will know you have always belonged."
